With his step-by-step design tutorial you can actually build yourself a projector with just a few cheap objects and ingenuity! The whole project only cost you a dollar. The way it works is the light from your phone or iPod goes through the magnifying glass and magnifies onto the wall. The whole project is very easy to make and easy to understand.

Siri allowed iFixIt to undress her like that on the eve of the iPhone 4S launch. iFixIt have let all of the magic smoke out of the latest iPhone. The following are some of the major highlights:

  • As noted by AnandTech, the part number found on the A5 chip in iFixit’s teardown confirms earlier claims that the iPhone 4S carries 512 MB of RAM.
  • iFixit confirms that the iPhone 4S uses the linear oscillating vibrator motor as found in the CDMA iPhone 4 rather than the rotational motor found in the GSM iPhone 4
  • On the outside it looks and feels like an iPhone 4. On the inside they were confronted with a different phone altogether.

There are many more findings that can be seen here at ifixIt page. You can also check out MJ’s video review of the new iPhone 4S here:
